Why do we like this?

Let me introduce you to Thad Kopec because you probably haven't met him yet. He's a composer and songwriter living in Nashville who sounds like he'd be at home in a Coen brothers movie. With vocal nods to Fleet Foxes, wind-swept orchestral arrangements, and lyrics that are vintage Seven Swans era Sufjan, Thad is definitely a talent to keep your eyes and ears on.

He has a new album coming out May 19, but this single (which I feel is a better introduction), has been sitting on his SoundCloud page for a few months. It's been gathering dust, and deserves to be taken off the shelf and thrown out into the wide world to roll like a tumble weed. Forgive the mixed metaphor.
