Tensnake's latest track "Desire" has got me wondering if inspiration resonates at a certain frequency. Like the sound inside your head when the breeze hits it just so or when you've nearly fainted and you're coming to.
"Desire" sounds both hollowed out and full. Like a windsock attached up top a moving vehicle, impregnated with air, it takes in as it empties. Like the feeling of traveling somewhere new. The experience at first is fleeting, just feelings and images, muffled sounds yet to be translated.
That, I feel, is where inspiration hides. The sound of emptiness being filled. Sounds a little like "Desire."
