Brazilian composer and producer Marcioz has just released a remix of Japanese duo Tenniscoats' gorgeous 2010 single "Baibaba Bimba."
He has taken the relatively acoustic, band-orientated track and created a lush, tropical and or/romantic (I can't quite figure it out yet) banger of a remix.
He starts the track off with a recording of wind chimes before slowly progressing into the familiar elements from the original alongside a crude beat. He then introduces the strings of the first movement from Vivaldi's classic piece, “op 8,” turning the remix into a sort of ode to various musical influences.
The entire shebang results in a textured, rather romantic cacophony of both acoustic and electronic sounds which is wonderful to listen to. Keep up with Marcoiz on SoundCloud.
