Why do we like this?
It's getting pretty close to bedtime for me over here in Perth, and what better single to stumble upon then Tennis' "Mean Streets"? I'm surprised that we hadn't heard any new material from the husband/wife duo in 2013, but I'm glad to say that their brand new EP Small Sounds will be released November 5.
What can we make of this new single? Well, for starters, it is Tennis to an absolute tee. That delightfully quaint feel that is unique to Tennis returns once more, and I couldn't be happier with what I'm hearing. Alaina Moore's voice is enchanting and charming as always, so much so that you feel you're in a dream.
Leave it to Tennis to make my dreams that much sweeter.
