Why do we like this?
Temple Songs are a four piece band from Manchester, England, comprised of Jolan Lewis (guitar/vocals), Dave Hardy (bass), Jean Hughes (guitar), and Andrew Richardson (drums). They have an interesting lo-fi, psychedelic pop sound, which I am enjoying very much.
"Passed Caring" has some amazing drum work, fuzzy yet dreamy guitar play, and loud vocals -- giving it an overall psych rock/garage rock vibe.
Temple Songs are currently writing and recording their debut album, but in the meantime, they're releasing a debut 7" on July 1 via RIP Records; you'll want to grab a pre-order here. To hear more, like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
