MP Williams, a rising Brooklyn-based producer, has taken a pass at Tei Shi's amazing track "M&Ms," completely re-envisioning the single.
Tei Shi's original is raw, emotional, and stripped down. MP Williams pivots with an even more diffused and ethereal remix, one he deems paranoid. There's an element of dusk floating through this paranoia, one that is almost palpable through the speakers. Chopped vocals and matching percussion draw upon different heart strings than the original, although both are as emotive a track can really get.
