Why do we like this?
Generally speaking, anytime British Columbia's Teen Daze releases a track, I am totally stoked. However, his newest single is released on a somewhat sad note.
The track is called "Light & Love," and was written to raise awareness for Benjamin Curtis of School of Seven Bells. Curtis was recently diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, and as he begins battling the cancer, his friends have set up a website where you can show your support for him. You can check out the site right here and give your support, prayers, well wishes, etc.
The song is another example of how Teen Daze has truly made producing tracks an art. With warm synths and piano, few producers can build a soundscape like Teen Daze can, and I can only imagine Benjamin Curtis listening to it and being encouraged as the musical community rallys behind him.
With that, Benjamin Curtis we wish you a speedy recovery and strength through this difficult time.
