Why do we like this?
Teen Daze has captured my attention big time. He's no doubt one of our favored artists here on Indie Shuffle (see all posts), and I'm super stoked to see him already putting out a new release with My Bedroom Floor.
The album is a collection of songs that were written earlier in 2010, at the same time a number of the tracks for Four More Years were being written. Most of them have a somewhat dancy edge, and in light of New Years Eve, the artist himself indeed admits that "NYE and Dance music have always been synonymous for me."
If the name of this track ("Discovery") triggered a flashback to Daft Punk, you won't be disappointed. In fact, what's particularly awesome about this single is that at the ~2 minute mark, we hear Teen Daze do something we haven't before with his magical synths. The result is akin to something off Daft Punk's Discovery.
