Ted's been on our radar for a little while now, and his persistence has paid off because we're back again to share one of his new songs with you.
"Higher Plain" reminds me a bit of FKJ x Tom Misch -- a combo that's sure to raise a few eyebrows. The song itself was inspired by a Russian novel called The Master And Margarita, which follows the devil as he/she plays tricks on the residents of a small town.
I confess that I'm not much of a lyric person -- what really drew me in here was the slick bassline and overall melodic progression. And the fact that it doesn't drag on for too long (at 2:30 in length, this is neatly packaged).
Chances are Ted's gonna keep on featuring over here on Indie Shuffle, so keep posted :)
