Why do we like this?
Tears For Fears have been all up in the covers game lately. It all started with Arcade Fire's cover of "Ready To Start," followed up by Lorde's rendition of "Everybody Wants To Rule The World." Then came yesterday, when the band released their own covers of Animal Collective and Hot Chip (here).
Today comes Matthew Dear's cover of the single "Pale Shelter," featuring Tegan and Sara. The original was released way back in 1983 on the album The Hurting, putting the song at more than 20 years of age (perhaps older than some of our readers!).
Honestly, I'm quite enjoying this take on the song. It has a strong M83 feel to it, with T&S's vocals putting the cherry on the top.
