Le Roi Crocodile, though quite unknown, deserves all the recognition he can get. Every song I've heard thus far has been innovative and impressive. His new cover of Tears For Fears' "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" is no different.
Le Roi Crocodile was inspired to cover this song as his high school graduation was coming to a close. That's right. This dude is a young'un, and he's got the goods. This downtempo version of the song is so fresh and infectious, I can't stop listening to it. It's modernized sound is incredibly cohesive to what music listeners are looking for in the downtempo synth movement. This re-creation is simply flawless.
As usual, I asked the guy beind Le Roi Crocodile when he'd have an album ready, and as always, the mystery remains. Bated breath it is!
