Why do we like this?

Taylor Bennett has released a new EP. With almost as many features as tracks, Be Yourself is simultaneously savvy and simple. 

In "Hype Me Up" the Chicago rapper hits us with the blows of a friendship gone awry. Jazzy guitar chords fade into oblivion below his words as a drum track fills the gaps without intrusion. It's a palpable pop rap track for the summer -- not to mention one that coincides with his brother's recent releases!
