Why do we like this?

I'm a little on-the-fence about the verse of this song, but the chorus keeps bringing me back in and leaving me wanting more.

Brooklyn-based producer Tatum Gale released his first EP (aptly titled EP 1) back in 2018. Since then he's released three songs ("Between Us," "Crocodilian", and "Blue Haze"), which probably means there's either a full album in the works, or another EP. Of the lot, this one's probably my favorite.
