Patience. What does that really mean?
After a nice walk and a visit to the dog park the other morning, I sipped my cappuccino at a quaint corner cafe called Charle's. My dog was at my side while I took the time to settle and do some thinking.
What came to mind, was the idea of patience. One way to think about it is an endurance of that which we're not comfortable with. I feel as though we assume it has to do with the ability to wait. However, a part of the human experience is that we're constantly met with that which we do not like, and so, being able to endure that, until the good cycles back around, seems like true patience to me.
Tarik's "For All the Right Reasons" brings this contemplation back to mind. The song's highlight is definitely the section that comes to life from the 2-minute mark. It has rolling sounds that spin and weave a near-perfect listening experience. However, in this particular experience, patience is not required. Not even one bit. Leading up to thatis an equal joy that simply gets amplified when coupled with that standout moment.
I hope this brings you joy enough to endure whatever hardships come your way, though may they be slight.
