While drama may not be for everyone, a little dramatic flair can go a long way for an artist.  That flair can come in various shapes and sizes, such as using a first name-only pseudonym, putting hardly any information on your Facebook page, or making soul-stirring music.  If this was a multiple choice test, Australia's Tara would check off "all of the above."

Now living and creating music in Dublin, Tara is poised to make her mark among some of the most talented women of indie pop.  Clearly the big voice she uses on her very first single, "Stars," demonstrates that's exactly what she's shooting for.

The track showcases Tara letting her voice travel through a labyrinth of organic and electronic sound.  Guitars and drums provide the background, while synths and vocal production add a sense of depth and mystery. But what really brings it all together is Tara's siren-esque vocals, which no doubt command all of your attention.

Not only is Tara "all of the above," but she's the correct answer for anyone looking for some fresh new pop.  As long as they don't mind a little drama.
