Why do we like this?

Tapes is a new artist via Ohio and Tennessee, self-touted on his Facebook page as "chopped and scrooged" - a pun any music follower can appreciate.  

Although his name is relatively generic, his sound is surely not. "Find Y.O.U" is glitchy and lush, synths cascading quickly and deliberately. Elements weave in and out throughout "Find Y.O.U." creating a frenetic energy. Craig David's "Fill Me In" hangs in the background, bringing a 90's R&B touch to the song which fits in brilliantly.
