Why do we like this?

I imagine the future as a place without those Tame Impala shirts – you know, the one that everyone with a fedora and a vape owns. I imagine the future as a place without the term future before a genre – "past tense bass," try that one on for size.

I imagine the future as a place where genres don't matter, and the only thing that does is the question "does it sound good?"
