Personally, this song has a ton of amazing memories attached to it. Yet, with the stunning amount of covers released, I often have difficulty picking out which version I want to listen to. Aside from Iron and Wine & Ben Bridwell's folk rendition, this is my absolute favorite cover of the Talking Heads' all-time classic.
It's heavily synth-focused, which keeps it fairly close in style to the era in which it was originally written. However, the solo man behind Brothertiger, John Jagos' voice carries all the way through and beyond the heavy background tones.
Brother Tiger recently released his LP, Out of Touch in early December, 2015. It's a really solid album top to bottom, full of similar synthy vibes shown in this track. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled as I'll be posting a track or two from it soon...
