Following the success of hit single, "Soul Food," UK artist Taliwhoah returns with the slinky R&B number "Run Along."
The daughter of Boney M’s Toyin Adekale, Taliwhoah has music in her veins and displays a mature pop sound on this stylish tune. Taliwhoah reminds me of fellow R&B stars SZA and Kelela, with her striking vocals infusing with the melodic production. Speaking on the new single Taliwhoah states:
'Run Along' covers a transition that had to happen to truly embrace and acknowledge my self worth. I really dive deep into a reality I had to deal with, that many women out there have to deal with. It’s a journey I had to take with the people that channel the most positive energy in me, my family. So with the track and video, I made sure I really kept it real. Really real.
