Why do we like this?

Sometimes doing the simple things well is all you really need. It's an idea that Tuff City Kids have stuck to on their remix of Talamanca System's "Balanzat," producing a slab of simple, but very effective house. 

The track came about when International Feel's founder Mark Barrott, Gerd Janson, and his Tuff City partner Philip Lauer were enjoying a meal at Barrot's Ibizan hideaway. During the meal, Mark agreed to gift his unused Studio Electronics "Boomstar 303" synth. The Tuff City guys then thought it would be nice to repay the loan with a remix for Mark, which eventually turned into a full collaboration and the resulting EP.
