Why do we like this?

Rooted in the moment underground house music has been having during the last year, this collab from Taisun and Travis Emmons' "What You're Looking For" is an eccentric, dirty tech banger.

Following in the footsteps of Dirtybird and recent tracks from Chris Lake, "What You're Looking For" is a good balance of oddball vocals and low basslines with wonky textures. The end result is something which feels uniquely West Coast U.S.A, grounded in sounds that feel tongue in cheek while maintaining grit, and demonstrates how underground house music has truly permeated the mainstream dance culture.
