Anxiety disorder is a mother fucker. This song talks about a different chemical reaction than that, but the chemical reaction that can end up mimicking a heart attack is the worst reaction around. Recently I reread Vonnegut's Breakfast Of Champions and there's a part that mentions one of the characters, and his combination of bad chemicals and bad ideas. Anxiety is kind of like that.
At times it feels like there's no solutions to the problem that's consuming you. It's easy to look past the solutions you've used in the past, like music for example. In the past I've used things like exercise to help in the moment of panic, and so many more times I've used music.
Tailor's "After" is a smooth, heartfelt pop song that makes you believe whatever you're going through will be overcome. It's a song that helped me through a panic attack that sent me to the hospital. I decided to share this before I realized the capacity it has for healing, but it feels more appropriate to share it after my experience recently.
