Back in February, Hugh included Australian producer Zach Alvos (aka Tabrill) in his round-up of the best new music from down under. Clearly the dude was grabbing some attention, so it's little wonder that six months later we're premiering his newest work.
"Letters" sees Tabrill join forces with Will Briskey of Brisbane indie-rockers Youth Allowance. The two have a long history of mutual admiration, and while at a party a few months back decided to collaborate on a track. Fortunately they followed up on that drunken agreement, because this is a pretty great single.
The end result reminds me a b it of something from Phanotgram meeting with The 1975, and therein marks itself as original and worthy of coverage. So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy.
