Why do we like this?
Aussie producer and DJ Ta-ku is a favorite among the Indie Shuffle crew. Be it his chopped and screwed hip-hop productions, collaborations and remixes for numerous artists (including Chet Faker, Justin Timberlake, and The Presets), or latest electronic tinged releases, Ta-ku continues to experiment with his sound, resulting in some damn fine booty shaking tunes.
"Closet Drake Fans" finds Ta-ku flipping early Drake release "Over," turning a run-of-the-mill Drake hit into a club-friendly barnstormer. From the orchestral opening to the frenetic electronic samples, this is Drake like you've never heard him before.
A special mention must be made of the title, with Ta-ku letting everyone know it's okay to like Drake. No really, it is.
