This beautiful track was made by a young Australian man called Szymon Borzestowski in his humble makeshift home studio. You may recall from Indie Shuffle's post last year that a couple of years ago Szymon tragically lost his battle with depression at the age of 23.
With the full support of some industry notables and also from Szymon's family, his music is being drawn increasingly into the spotlight. A much-anticipated LP called Tigersapp is waiting in the wings, and this track "Golden" is the second single release from it.
"Golden" is a standout example of how to blend acoustic guitar with layers of vocals and synths to make light, mythic, and stunning electronica.
I'm sure you feel the same way about this as I do; it is a privilege to be able to listen to the wonderful music made by a tragically lost and incredibly talented young man.
