Why do we like this?
It's weird to think that at the end of the day we are all one species. Yet we live in silos of interest and culture based on our locations. Travel is the chisel and hammer that breaks us free and reconnects us to our greater unity.
Synapson's "Mohan" is a product of the duo's travels to India. In it, we can almost see the colorful laundry drying on rooftops, the overgrown forests reaching into the roads as the busses whizz by, the buzzing onslaught of traffic, and the friendly smiles in a sea of new faces.
The vocal incantation is about an Indian deity, god of protection, compassion, tenderness, and love — a note of true beauty on which to end this blog post. Enjoy.
