Why do we like this?

When SYML's song "The Bird" first came out, it was compared to Hozier and Sigur Rós. If you listen for yourself, you'll find a beautiful, folk-inspired, slow-building song.

This remix doesn't really capture that Hozier/Sigur Rós vibe, but if one hones in on the vocals they'll probably hear it. That's because Sasha's rendition takes the tempo up a notch, to a level not unlike Klangkarussell. Every time I find myself listening to it I end up being sucked deeper and deeper into it.

And then, just like that, it ends. Right at the crescendo. And that's probably got something to do with why I keep coming back.
