Why do we like this?

Any song from Sylvan Esso has become a sort of a guaranteed good-listen. Whatever they produce, it's safe to call me a taker.

"Frequency," the latest single, is no different. It starts a little slow but a subtle, emotive moment around the 2-minute mark really pulls me in and what follows makes for a strong ending. The visual aspect of the track adds intrigue with a video shot by Moses Sumney.

"Frequency," along with singles "Ferris Wheel" and "Rooftop Dancing," will feature on Sylvan Esso's upcoming LP, Free Love, set for release on September 25th through Loma Vista.
