Sykes Best Thing

It is somewhat of a blur, but some two years ago I was pretty content with the kind of music that Sykes was producing on a small scale. Fast forward to 2015, and you're witnessing the emergence of a powerful London trio that are hitting their stride with perfection.

"Best Thing" showcases the enormous raw talent that has been kept in hiding in South London for far too long. It's big, bold, and best of all, it's pretty darn unique. You don't often come across voices as genuine and heartfelt as Julia's, and the synth work that compliments her in this release is just simply captivating.
