Why do we like this?
Sony has a few exciting artists at the up and coming SXSW 2012, including The Cults and Fray. But one artist that had remained relatively unknown to me was Alabama Shakes. Their single "Hold On" is a bluesy, indie rock song that perfectly embodies what I perceive as the general vibe of SXSW: carefree and full of guitars.
