Monsieur Adi first caught my attention after releasing his Bastille remix, which immediately became a hit here on Indie Shuffle as well as across the blogosphere, reaching #1 on Hypem. Since then, the Parisian Maestro continues gaining recognition while pumping out killer French electro remixes.
When describing Monsieur Adi's style and techniques, my fellow Indie Shuffle writer Kavit couldn't have said it any better: "What I appreciate the most about Monsieur Adi"˜s remix is that it doesn't show its cards right away. The arrangement shuffles and sidesteps its way through the song, always smart to be at a perfect level of tension with the lyrics; thereby, providing a whole set of new avenues for the song to explore."
Today, Monsieur Adi flips the Swiss Lips track "U Got The Power," which should solidify his status in the French electro scene. When your name drops in the same conversation about Justice and Daft Punk, you must be doing something right.
