Why do we like this?

From the first sound released after pressing play, I could tell this was going to be sonically unique. At first, haunting, then the beat begins and the groove creeps in like a wandering stranger. The lyrics hold power in their raw edge and relatable sentiment. 

"Before I would have told you, / hell I could always speak my mind./ Now when I see you, I speak politely. / I asked you not to take it personally, / you said "hey I don't" / It'll be easier not to love you, / so I won't."

“Speak Politely” is the second single to com from SWIMM's forthcoming debut full-length, Sentimental Porno.
