Why do we like this?

Oceaán is back with a Swim Deep remix. Their rendition of "Honey" is spaciously ethereal, to say the least.

This stripped-down, atmospheric take is transparent and tranquil, and it slowly builds momentum. The electronic approach encompasses every aspect of this song -- from the beats, to the synths, and maybe even the vocals, this song is drenched in modern-day technology. The obvious downtempo R&B style takes precedent in this song and all things Oceaán.

I'm always pleasantly surprised when I see a new Oceaán release dropped in my inbox. For now, you and I both will have to wait with bated breath.
