Why do we like this?

It took me a little while to come around to this one by Connecticut-based Sweet William.

The song is excellently pulled together, and pretty much flawless in its execution. I think where I was having issues is that it's also quite a classic and safe sound -- a la Built To Spill from decades ago. But perhaps that's not such a bad thing in small doses?
