Operation - Spy Games
A smooth lo-fi track reminiscent of a 1960's spy film makes me wanna jam with a radio set and commence an operation.
I like the proverbial "Vibe - Check" tracks we tend to get today, the lo-fi playlists, the rainy day channels, but it's always nice when there is an almost tangible feeling to the vibe created - a placed feeling, a set stage, and "Yves Klein Blues" does exactly that.
A song that belongs in any spy film "prep" montage I just want to see hard zooms, walkie-talkie conversations, and the almost always present "tailing of the target." It puts you in the space it wants you and is good at just keeping you there.
Lo-Fi sounds, a rainy day European ambiance, and a beautifully tangible feel make it all the more memorable.
Commence Operation Finale.
