Earth-shatteringly huge, mysterious American singer-songwriter SVÄ’'s "Talking To The Walls" is potentially the best pop single I've heard this year. Exploding on the scene from almost nowhere, details on SVÄ’ remain relatively shady, however her dazzling, high-tempo pop will surely see the world's gaze draw her way very soon.
Incredibly powerful, "Talking To The Walls" is built upon huge tribal beats and futuristic synths that gift the song a raw, anthemic energy that is quite simply magnificent. Even though everything is turned up to 100%, SVÄ’'s vocals remain sweet and endearing throughout, soaring beautifully above the jungle of hooks, melodies and choruses that roar defiantly beneath her voice.
If the song wasn't huge enough on its own, the track's futuristic, dystopian visual accompaniment is well worth a watch too. Take a look here.
