Why do we like this?

Last October, when reviewing SVĒ's previous track "Talking To The Walls," I stated that it was "potentially the best pop single I've heard this year." Fast forward nine months, and I'm pretty sure she's done it all over again.

Unveiled last week, SVĒ's new track "Riot" is a wild, seismic pop juggernaut that does its song title complete justice. Reminding me of Sia, SVĒ appears to have a natural understanding of what makes a pop song great. 

With huge hooks, glistening synths, and a dazzling voice that appears to have no limits, SVĒ's brand of no-nonsense, all or nothing pop is an almost perfect formula.
