The group that is Superhumanoids are quickly on the rise, and understandably so. Their approach to witchy downtempo synth pop is a tasteful and unique one.
There's an obvious touch of simplicity that lies within their style, but at the same time, once it all ties together there's no shortage of wildly beautiful music. Their live video for their track "Black Widow" is a perfect example of this. It takes places during a hometown L.A. session in which the combination of taxidermy aesthetics and Superhumanoids' eerily atmospheric style makes for a peculiar yet fitting environment.
Their song, "Black Widow" is lusciously spooky and heart wrenching. The deconstructed effect within the track leaves plenty of room for lead singer Sarah's penetrating yet soft vocals to shine through. All in all, this is not a band to pass up. Their original sound and innovative style can and will set them apart, deservedly so.
