We first introduced you to Perth-based electro duo Sun City back in May when we shared their single "City Lights." This track, and others like it off their debut EP (released in September last year), were heavily featured on the local festival circuit - helping Tobias John and Daniel Mackey to hone their craft. They've just released their second EP in under a year, Set Alight, the culmination of six months of recording and production by the boys.
After first single "High" received plenty of love locally, they've just dropped the EP's second single "The Follower." Once again, it highlights the duo's love of 80s-influenced electronica, with plenty of silky smooth synth and percussion lines on show. A coinciding film clip has also been released, and can be viewed below.
The self-proclaimed perfectionists have again done themselves proud, and it's interesting to track their progression as musicians. If you love bands like Passion Pit and The Naked and Famous, you're going to enjoy these guys.
