Every now and then the music industry is blessed (believe me, I'm not exaggerating by using this word) with a presence of someone new and really special. Someone who makes you rethink not only your taste in music, but your whole life in general.
With her soulful voice that cuts through all the surrounding noise, and her enchanting authenticity, Atlanta's own Summer Walker is just that. Her debut album Last Day of Summer came out a couple of months ago and it's definitely a new benchmark in experimental R&B.
Take your time and give it a proper go, it's the kind of R&B that keeps you up at night. In a really good way.
