Summer and Sweden might not be two words that you necessarily put together, but Swedish-born David Alexander would really like to change your mind with his project Summer Heart.
Part chillwave and part beach pop, Summer Heart is ready to warm you up with their brand new track "U Got All I'm Looking 4." This track just screams a day at the beach, from its jangly guitar all the way to its reverbed vocals, which sound like they're being played out of an old boombox that's been sitting out in the sun for a few too many summers. There are also some sticky, sweet lyrics ready to kindle some summer romance, even if it is only March. All that's missing is a tropical rum drink with a tiny little umbrella.
So even with a forecasted high of 6 degrees Celsius in Stockholm today, I guess Swedes really do know a thing or two about summer.
