Why do we like this?

Well I never thought I'd see the day when I would be posting a cover of a Sugababes song, but hey there's a first time for everything! I'm glad to say Meadowlawk does what Meadowlark does best in stripping down their pop hit "About You Now" down to its very bones.

It's remarkable how behind that sugary pop exterior there lies a certain delicacy and fragility embedded within the lyrics - it only took Meadowlark to unearth it. The cheesiness is sort of extinguished and instead we're left with this feeling of true and authentic emotion as the duo put it. 

Look out for their upcoming EP Nocturnes, which is to be released March 10.
