Sufjan Stevens & Cat Martino Take The Time

Just a week ago I found myself wishing that Sufjan Stevens would get around to continuing his 50 States project. While I doubt that's going to happen any time soon, at least he's still producing new music.

Now, not all of Sufjan's new music has been noteworthy; the majority sees the musician pushing all sorts of experimental boundaries. And "Take The Time" isn't really an exception, except for one important component: it's a decent listen.

Maybe Cat Martion of Stranger Cat is to thank? Her vocals certainly fit nicely over Mr. Stevens' recognizable instrumentation.

Fingers crossed this marks an onslaught of new music from the Sufjan camp.
