Tuesdays are normally a clusterf*ck of new music, but today seems to be breaking the mold. I've been sitting around twiddling my thumbs, but to this point nothing has popped up and *grabbed* me.
So, I've turned to my "likes" on SoundCloud -- and fortunately this track by Stwo filtered up toward the top.
"Stay On My Cool" represents a lot of the cool stuff going on with music today: 1) modern electronic sounds; 2) a merging of multiple genres; 3) perfect production.
The original version of the track was released by Jay Prince, a London-based wordsmith, roughly 5 months ago. You can hear it here -- no doubt you'll note the contrast between both versions.
