Why do we like this?

Back in ~2010 I went through a huge surf rock phase. Real Estate was pretty much on repeat. As with many things, however, that passion was soon replaced by another phase. And so surf rock fell into the background for me.

Flash forward a decade and I've clearly still got a soft spot for the genre. Case in point: Stray Fossa's latest single "How Come?". It's an easy-going indie rock song with a slightly sad feel - not too dissimilar to the last single of theirs we picked up, "For What Was."

Rumor has it the band are gearing up to release a new album, so assuming the quality sustains, odds are we'll be back with another one of their songs.
