Why do we like this?

Ta-ku's tunes have been becoming part of my daily rotation, and to be honest, I'd be surprised if they're not part of yours sometime soon.  The Australian producer has jumped the ranks rather quickly and it seems like I just heard of Ta-ku last week, yet this guy's name is all over the place -- in a good way.

His most recent track is "Picking All The Pieces" by fellow Australian synth pop outfit Strange Talk.  While keeping the original synth pop roots intact, Ta-ku turns the tempo down a bit and adds a chill hip hop vibe.

I've got to admit that Strange Talk is one of my favorite Australian synth pop acts, but this remix just might be better than the original.  I'll let you be the judge.
