Why do we like this?

The synth-pop band from Melbourne, Australia released their debut album Cast Away last year to some great reviews, and now they're back with their first single "Painted In Gold," off of their upcoming EP due for release this October.   

Adding Bertie Blackman as a vocalist has introduced a new depth to Strange Talk's sound. Sounding similarly to Passion Pit and Porter Robinson, "Painted In Gold" will make any electronic synth-pop fan do a happy dance. It's dark yet happy, and resonates with elegant vocals and driving synths that makes it hard not to like.
