Why do we like this?

Swedish band Stranded Mermaid have a pretty epic style to their sound, and this new single serves as a perfect example.

For those with a fine-tuned ear, "Scream From The Wilderness" will illicit memories of Wye Oak and Kaki King, two well-established acts within the genre. Personally, I think that's why I like it so much.

This song appears on a new EP called Pagan Rituals I: Animal Worship. There'll be two more than follow, also following the "pagan theme."
