The New Age Social Scene/Slow Anxiety
"Pool" is a chameleon-esque track that becomes something completely different the more you listen.
Still Woozy and Remi Wolf have gone full monty with this track, a sound that is just as unplaceable as it is familiar. It has an alt "we don't care" flavor to it that continuously reminded me of The Pixies, but at the same time I couldn't stop putting it in a box with all the alt-pop darlings I've grown to love.
The beauty of this track is how entertaining it is with every loop, it's new every time because there's something new to discover with each listen: a new bass change up, a new sample usage, or new meaning to a lyric.
I plan on visiting this pool every weekend, who's joining?
