Why do we like this?
Starfucker was one of the first bands we ever reviewed over at Indie Shuffle HQ. Which means that they still hold a pretty special place in my heart -- regardless of whether it's new original material, or just a remix.
The last time we heard from the band was with their 2012 album Miracle Mile, which garnered plenty of attention throughout the blogosphere. It was a well-deserved success, with tracks like "While I'm Alive" and "Say To You" standing out as personal favorites.
This remix by Mackintosh Braun comes rather unexpectedly, but I'm more than willing to embrace it. His synth work weaves wonders for the track, with the end result landing somewhere in Miami Horror territory.
